With five or so weeks to go we are running out of time! chitty is going into the garage to have a new rear diff fitted on Wednesday this week, This is a major bit of work however we are glad to find the problem now than on our trip. I have also designed a luggage rack and is being made up and fitted next week by Sims Leppard in Newport Isle of Wight. It will make life easy holding a spare wheel, tent, water, two Jerry cans with fuel and camping equipment. As if this was not enough to worry about I have made a bolt on, bolt off roof and is being fitted with a canvas cover to waterproof. Jim the Trim from Sandown is currently pulling this together.
